Chapter 6 starts the second part of the book concentrating on writing skills. You can learn how paragraphs are written in English and what their structure is. Then you will discover how to prepare summaries using key words, precise word meaning and linking words.
Chapter 7 concentrates on writing reports. Examples of different reports are given with focus on grammar and style.
Chapter 8 gives a short introduction to research paper writing. Grammar, style, organization and language choice (English for Academic Purposes) are analysed with examples.
Chapter 9 presents some examples of business correspondence which are ready to be used by you. You may find pieces of writings in different styles there.
The book provides a list of key terms at the end of each chapter and at the end of the book, which will help you find the exact meaning and check the usage in the text. Exercises in the chapters are for you to make communication more practical. Work with your partner or team, discuss, argue and debate on various topics!
